10% Lion of Judah Outreach Women’s Ministry

Our Lion of Judah Outreach Women’s Ministry exists to unite women in deepening their faith in Jesus Christ through learning, sharing, worshiping, and encouraging one another! Our goal is to become women of God’s grace. No matter what stage of life you find yourself in, we want all women of our outreach ministry to be involved in our women’s ministry!

To better include every woman of every age group, several events are planned each year to meet the spiritual and personal needs of the women of our ministry. These are planned to encourage fellowship and to get to know each other better. Workshops are also sponsored throughout the year that focus on being a strong woman of faith!

Also, our Lion of Judah Outreach Women’s ministry encourages and provides opportunities for all community members and other participants to be aware of and involved in missions and cooperate with other missions’ ministries within the community.

5% Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry of our church exists for three reasons:

1) We want to teach men how they can grow in their faith!

2) We want to provide opportunities for fellowship!

3) We want to serve Christ with one another!

Through various events and activities, we want to see men become more like Jesus, and have fun while doing it! Whether it’s a men’s camp or a service project in our community, we want to put God first and give him the glory for everything!

15% Ministry of Youth and Teens

We are trying to prepare Youth and Teen for life. They need to be able to live and think as Christians. For that reason, we offer these equipping opportunities: They have a weekly gathering for the purpose of developing character and leadership in young men. They are learning how to be good husbands and workers and servants/leaders in the church. At the same time, they are forming friendships for life with other guys.

Lion of Judah Outreach Ministries, is blessed with an incredible youth and teen’s group. This group will be active in ministering to those in the community who have needs and know how to have fun as a group while doing so. On Friday and Saturday evenings, they get together for various activities, like camps, Workshops, and worship throughout the year.

15% CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

At Lion of Judah Outreach Ministries, the kids have an awesome experience at each gathering. We use age-appropriate teaching styles to lead kids to Jesus. Kids always will be begging to come back. Our Children’s Ministry is doing an excellent job of building a solid foundation of biblical truth for children.

What the kids learn during these years will impact the rest of their lives!

10% EVANGELISM/MISSIONS MINISTRY

At Lion of Judah Outreach Ministries, this is a non-negotiable because our God is a missionary God! He sent his Son to save us and has given us a similar mission to spread the message of His Gospel.

The mission doesn’t just involve one place. Acts 1:8 says, “You shall be My witness both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” It implies that the gospel spreads out in concentric circles from a central location. In New Testament times, “home base” was the Jerusalem church. In our day and age, it is the local community, for us in Charlotte, NC.

In that same manner, we seek to do missions everywhere. We don’t see a distinction between local missions and international missions. God has called to spread love wherever we go. We’re glad to have a variety of partnerships that help up fulfill God’s call for us to join Him in His mission.

10% EDUCATION MINISTRY

Christian Education is the teaching ministry of our Church. It provides direction for teaching activities of all ministries, for the main task of Christian Education is to teach the truth about God. Knowledge, perspective, conviction, skills, and character are all strands of Christian education and mark spiritual growth and development. We recognize and make room for the people of God; to give and receive spirit al growth and development. We recognize and make room for the people of God; to give and receive spiritual, physical, intellectual, and emotional support for the development of a faith-driven relationship with God and attainment of eternal life.

Our overall purpose is to bring God’s people to Him and perpetuate His church. God’s word stands firmly on its own. Christian Education helps Christians understand and express Christianity and Aids them in making connections to God. Good teaching helps us to stay focused on Christ’s example and avoid extremes that frequently get brought into the church. The focus changes when we take social and cultural trends and mix them with God’s word. This can lead to confusion and incomplete understanding of Christ’s command to go and make disciples. Each Christian is to first learn; then go and teach others. Our mission is to worship, provide instruction, fellowship, evangelize, and serve our community.

30% SERVICE MINISTRY

The Service Ministry is charged with the responsibility of responding to requests for temporary emergency aid for those with memberships with the Lion of Judah Outreach Ministry, or other members of the community. Emergency aid includes payments for food, rent, mortgage, utilities, medications, safe shelter, transportation, or other items of critical importance to the recipient’s family.

The Ministry promotes and sponsors partnerships, programs, activities, and projects that directly benefit people who are not church members. The derived benefit can be monetary, physical, or social.

The sole purpose of all sponsored activities shall be to use derived benefits to promote the spiritual welfare of the recipient(s) and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior.

5% FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY

Lion of Judah Outreach Ministries values genuine fellowship, which is intentional and produces unity and harmony in the community.

The Fellowship ministry enables the community to experience the more prominent family of God and to draw us all together. The thrust of the fellowship ministry is to engage community members in activities that promote opportunities for sharing and engaging in Christian fellowship. This provides opportunities for strengthening common Christian bonds and uplifting one another. The Fellowship Ministry is a group of members who plan cookouts, meals, and special occasions for the community.
